Our Services

Boarding at The Misfit Mission is intentionally small and home-centered. Dogs stay in a cozy house environment with a resident dog, plenty of downtime, attention, and a predictable routine. Someone is monitoring the dogs almost 24/7 so they’re not left alone for long stretches.

Our home includes:

Fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time
Dog park and Connecticut river within walking distance for extra enrichment (as appropriate for your dog)
Thoughtful supervision and calm structure throughout the day
A small, cozy setting suited to dogs who prefer a quieter alternative to large facilities
Use of available crates, beds, toys, and their choice of sleeping arrangement

All major federal holidays will be assigned holiday rates.

Yes. Please allow us up to 72 hours prior to arrival date to accept cancellations. Charges will apply after this period.

Yes. We have experience caring for dogs with a wide range of medical needs and supporting seniors who may need extra patience, supervision, and comfort. We can follow your written care instructions (and your veterinarian’s guidance, if applicable), administer medications as directed, and we’ll communicate with you right away if we notice anything out of the ordinary.
